FAQ
Q: What is En Fuego?
A: En Fuego is Spanish for “On Fire”. The event is a one-day rally where students from every denomination and background come together for the purpose of worship and seeing Jesus Christ change lives. An outdoor event, the rally has a very intense yet intimate camp-like feel and some have referred to it as “the Christian Woodstock of your generation.”
Q: What if it rains?
A: En Fuego is a rain-or-shine event. We have a covered stage and, if it rains, come prepared; we will just get wet as we worship and praise God! The show may be temporarily delayed but the event will not be cancelled. (Of course, if extremely dangerous or life threatening weather occurs, we will follow the advice of the Emergency Management team who is onsite. If the event is already underway, official word will come from the stage from a representative of the En Fuego Ministries board of directors. Please listen for the official announcement in such an event.)
Q: Who sponsors En Fuego?
A: Various churches, businesses and individuals have come on board to help sponsor this event. In order to keep En Fuego free to the public, we need a lot of financial support. Q: I am bringing a group to En Fuego for the first time. Can you tell me a little about the event and what to expect?
A: En Fuego is a worship experience for believers and an evangelistic outreach for the lost. We encourage everyone to bring a friend who doesn’t know Jesus as his or her personal Savior. En Fuego takes place in an open field and has a camp- or music festival-like atmosphere. A highlight each year is the lighting of the huge En Fuego bonfire. It symbolizes the whole purpose of the event, to see people “ON FIRE” for Jesus. Please pray for your group and all the details surrounding En Fuego.
