Wow,

First of all Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for coming to EnFuego and making it such a great event. Without your attendance EnFuego would not have been what it was!

EnFuego was awesome, didn’t you think? What did you think about this year’s lineup? Who was your favorite group? Personally, Sanctus Real is among my favorite bands and they were awesome but David Crowder *Band blew me away! What an awesome concert full of praise to the Living God and Savior Jesus Christ! Let us know on Facebook if you liked the event, who your favorite band was etc… Now we begin planning for EnFuego 2012 and I for one, can’t wait!!!!

It looks like the eastern seaboard will receive the rain and weather of Hurricane Irene and Central Alabama will be dry and ready to rock. Continue to pray for a beautiful day for EnFuego on 8.27.11 and also pray for all the people in the Baltimore, Washington D.C. and New York City areas that will be affected by this hurricane.

The following is the latest update from our meteorologist Brian Peters:

It is looking great for your event. Irene continued to track as

expected which will take it away from Alabama. This track will put us on

the dry side of the storm.

Just because of the heat, an isolated shower could occur, but I

really think it will be dry. The morning low Saturday should be around 73

with the afternoon high around 90 to 92. The humidity will also be dropping

off a bit on Saturday which will make it feel a little better.

Here at EnFuego we are praying for clear skies and sunshine this Saturday for the concert event of the year. We have site specific updates from our private meteorologist coming into us daily. Today’s forcast from Dr. Brian Peters is as follows:

A summer-like weather pattern will remain in place for Central

Alabama. I am still watching Irene, but she seems likely to skirt the east

side of Florida making landfall in the Carolinas. This track will promote

dry weather in Central Alabama.

For now, it looks like Saturday, August 27, will see a morning low

around 73 with an afternoon high of 93.

Pray with us for clear skies this Saturday and come join us at EnFuego in Verbena, AL on 8.27.11

Crowder’s Last Stand!

David Crowder *Band is retiring from touring and making music as a band at the end of 2011. If you’ve never heard the David Crowder *Band then you should give them a chance. They have a unique sound and are beyond “talented”. Their final tour, The 7 Tour, will begin in September and will be the crowning jewel for the band. En Fuego will be among the final festivals that DC*B will play. It is going to be an awesome evening that I could only describe as a “Rock-n-Roll Praise Show”. Redeemer?

The latest album by Sanctus Real is entitled “Pieces of a Real Heart”. On their home page they have a link where you can listen to their song “Redeemer”, watch a video that explains why they wrote the song and what it means to them. Did you know that Travis Crim, co-founder of En Fuego, will be the 2011 speaker? He’s “coming home” to speak at the 15th anniversary of this great event. Be at En Fuego on 8.27.11 to hear Travis speak about the vision God gave him and how God turned that vision into one of the most dynamic events of the Summer each and every year.

We will give you more information about Travis and what his current projects are in the weeks to come.

En Fuego Bands On Billboard Top 10

Two bands who will be performing at En Fuego 2011 have songs in the Billboard Top 10. Sidewalk Prophets comes in at #4 on the current chart with “You Love Me Anyway” and Sanctus Real rounds out the Top 10 with their song “The Redeemer”. Once again, En Fuego brings you the BEST in Christian music!
